South
Shore Computer Sales & Services Limited Warranty
South Shore Computer Sales & Services (SSCSS) warrants all
systems purchased from South Shore Computer Sales & Services as
free from defects in material and workmanship for normal use by the
original purchaser.
-
One
& two year in shop warranty on new Systems sold by SSCSS, 3rd
year available at time of purchase:
- labour
and parts no charge under warranty
- shipping
and handling costs are customers responsibility.
- 6
Month warranty on parts sold by SSCSS.

All
Retail items sealed in retail packages are under the warranty of the
Manufacturer and not SSCSS unless other wise stated.
The warranty period commences on the date of purchase. You must
provide your original sales receipt showing the date of purchase to
support any claim under the warranty. This limited warranty extends
solely to you, the original purchaser, and is not transferable to
anyone who subsequently purchases, leases or otherwise obtains the
product from you.

Warranty
& Support for all Printers and Monitors are the responsibility
of the manufacturers. ie. Hp, Canon, Epson etc.

It
is the responsibility of the customer to pay for all S & H cost
to and from SSCSS.

South
Shore Computer Sales & Services are not be responsible for
damage to or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media.
You are responsible for backing up any programs or data on removable
storage media.
Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, South
Shore Computer Sales & Services will, at our sole discretion,
either repair or replace any part of a system built by us that proves
defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials, during the
warranty period.
This limited warranty does not extend to any product purchased from
anyone other than South Shore Computer Sales & Services. This
limited warranty additionally does not extend to any product damaged
or rendered defective if:
-
as
a result of use of the product for any purpose other than its normal
intended use, or other product misuse, abuse, or negligence;
- items
not sold by South Shore Computer Sales & Services;
- by
modification of the product;
- as
a result of service by anyone other than South Shore Computer Sales
& Services authorized Technician;
- by
improper transportation or packing when returning the product to
South Shore Computer Sales & Services;
- by
removal of warranty sticker(s);
- by
improper installation of third-party products;
- by
improper exposure to an environment (including excessive temperature
or humidity); or
- by
unusual physical or electrical stress or interference, failure or
fluctuation of electrical power, lightning, static electricity, fire,
or other acts of God.
EXCEPT FOR
THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN, SOUTH
SHORE COMPUTER SALES & SERVICES
DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED OR STATUTORY,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY APPLICABLE LAW ARE LIMITED TO THE
TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL SOUTH
SHORE COMPUTER SALES & SERVICES
BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF BUSINESS, PROFITS, DATA OR USE,
WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT OR BASED ON A WARRANTY, ARISING OUT
OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN
IF SOUTH
SHORE COMPUTER SALES & SERVICES
HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOU AGREE THAT
REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR REFUND, AS APPLICABLE, UNDER THE WARRANTY
SERVICES DESCRIBED HEREIN IS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY WITH
RESPECT TO ANY BREACH OF THE SOUTH
SHORE COMPUTER SALES & SERVICES
WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN. IF, DESPITE THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS, FOR
ANY REASON SOUTH
SHORE COMPUTER SALES & SERVICES
BECOMES LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES INCURRED BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH
THIS AGREEMENT, THEN, THE LIABILITY OF SOUTH
SHORE COMPUTER SALES & SERVICES
WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE INVOICE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO SOUTH
SHORE COMPUTER SALES & SERVICES
FOR THE PRODUCT.
RETURN
POLICY
(1) NO
CASH REFUNDS
(2) All
products requested and authorized as Return for credit must be
received by South Shore Computers within the first 7 days of original
purchase date.
(3) Return
for Credit will only be accepted when the item(s) is in
"NEW" and re-sellable condition. If
the
product(s) shows signs of use, it may not be returned.
(4) Credits
can be applied towards future purchases only. NO CASH REFUND. All
credits remain in
effect for 1 year.
(5) All
products Return For Credit are subject to South Shore Computer Sales
& Services authorization.
(6) All
returns must be in their original shipping cartons with original
packing materials. They must
contain all
manuals, cables and accessories.
(7) A 20%
restocking fee or current selling price (whichever is lower) and
back-charge of freight will
apply based
on the product(s) purchase price as stated in the sales invoice.
(8) Software
and consumable items cannot be
returned for
credit or replacement.
(9) Credit
will be final only after receipt of the returned products and approval.
(10) South
Shore Computers reserves the right to refuse any request to issue
credit for returned products.
(11) Collect
shipments will not be accepted. |
